Shannon is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the founder of Sonder Counseling. She specializes in helping adults and couples move through the things that feel too heavy to carry alone—complex trauma, relationship struggles, and the exhausting patterns that keep you stuck.

Shannon believes therapy should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are, without performing or pretending. She's not interested in surface-level fixes or generic advice. She's here to help you understand why you do what you do, develop genuine compassion for yourself, and build a life that actually feels like yours.

Whether you're dealing with the aftermath of painful experiences, feeling disconnected from your partner, or just sensing that something's off and you can't quite name it—Shannon creates space for all of it. She works with individuals processing trauma, first responders carrying the weight of what they've witnessed, and couples working to rebuild trust and intimacy after betrayal or disconnection.

Shannon's approach is warm, direct, and tailored to what you actually need. She uses evidence-based methods to help you heal in ways that last—without requiring you to relive every difficult moment to get there.
Shannon earned her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University and her Bachelor's in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Georgia.
